Every time a new customer it forwards the request of a project for the computer management of the company, it strengthens the idea in us that there is no software already on the market that fully satisfy all the situations that we face. Each new project, in fact, involves an analysis of the various departments of the different methods and management systems that characterize each company. Here is we discover that every existing product is missing something to close the circle, to get to the absolute conviction to do the exact thing for that company. That's why it becomes necessary to draw up, every time, a customized project that is based on an existing technology, but is optimized for the company as a Formula 1 car is created around the rider.
Below we show 3 of our most significant projects: they are companies completely different for kind and area where was used Microstation and a customization dedicated to the different needs of every industrial company.
MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
Project for S2 Srl
Company
The S2 srl located in the Pesaro area is a company operating in the furniture industry, office, home and business. It is very flexible company that can support the customer from the design and industrialization of new products to their full realization. The S2 srl performs internally all phases of the cycle (mechanical, painting, polishing, assembly and packaging) of elements in wood and marble and can provide the customer both finished and semi-finished products with production lots ranging from one up to a thousand pieces.
The request:
In order to optimize the timing of production, design and automation the company required the connection to the corporate information system for the automatic coding of items and BOMs. It was also required, the connection with the production launch for automatic processing of orders and the creation of machine programs in the various languages of the present CNC systems.
Solution:
In this case MicroStation and Progenio have been the basic tools used as well as an analysis of several months in which we compared the design and production in order to optimize the entire cycle. This is a typical situation of intervention in companies that want to reorganize the procedures to implement the product and optimize timing and methods of each individual department.

Project for Stemas Srl
Company
The STEMAS srl is a world leader in the manufacture of sanders, machining centers and semi-automatic machines for various uses. The research and development team present in STEMAS srl, made up of people working in different areas of the company, (engineers, testers, assembly workers and machine operators) aims to continually seek new technologies to provide customers with unique solutions and ensure a quality standard only.
The request:
From the tendency towards a continuous improvement of their tools, STEMAS srl has requested a software designed specifically for the design of the machinery that keeps a check on whether the designer and operator error.
Soluzione:
In this case the company could not be entrusted to traditional CAD for mechanical design for an obvious reason: the concept of this design is based on the desire to avoid operator error at the expense, however, the flexibility that is essential for a company of this type which has shorter time to market products and constantly evolving. It was necessary to proceed towards an absolute flexibility while maintaining a good control on quality of design and operator error.
NAVAL
Superpanamax Project, named "SAFE RETURN TO PORT" for Cetena Spa
Company
CETENA Spa – Centre for the Study of Naval Technology - is a subsidiary of Fincantieri Group, one of the largest in the world for the design of merchant ships and military, which does research and consulting in the naval and maritime transport. Since its founding in 1962, the company develops research activities at national and international level and offers consulting and technical services to shipyards, shipping companies, navies, maritime operators.
The request:
The project, commissioned by CETENA, is the development of an instrument operating in Microstation environment, hence the need to rely on a software engineer who had adequate skills on this platform and was able to develop a dedicated application, but compatible with it.
Solution:
The reached objective is to assess the operation a merchant ship under certain critical conditions due to flooding or fire, and then play the real model of the ship and then define the structure of the plants considered vital, simulating a fire or flooding in various areas and then determine whether, in these critical conditions, such systems remain active.
