PROGENIO STANDARD

In all companies, the link between the design and the next steps to bring into production is the more problematic (and essential) phase.

In a small business it happens that a project and the quote have no connection , and operators are forced to count the items drawn on CAD in a completely manual and fill in the management just to have an estimate; In medium-large company there are different software more or less linked together to manage the design  and prepare the quote.

These ways of working have as result not only a very time-consuming, but also the non-consideration of human error, with heavy consequences on production. Just consider the case in which an operator gets wrong to count the items and orders a quantity greater or less than necessary.

Progenio is concerned with automating all stages from planning, budgeting and production. 

User is aware at all times about:
- the number of entered items,
- those that are oversized,
- the surface and total volumes,
- the total linear or square meters (for those items that have that unit of measurement),
- the associated articles
and get the estimate at a single click.

And more:
- Progenio provides the operator with many tools to quickly locate the items on the design, modify them, so that each item can easily attach to that previously entered without the operator has a thorough knowledge of CAD.
- You have an automatism of hooking also on complex metallic structures with calculation of need (from the number of linear elements, multi-way nodes to the taper pins and gasket pins etc..).

Management Catalogs:
It deals with the presentation of catalogs. As Catalog we mean a subdivision of the universe of articles into groups and subgroups, useful to identify them within the archive. It may be the equivalent of the catalog that many companies use to present their products, that retailers consult for a quote. This module can be used to identify product lines to group the products used to facilitate the design, etc..  Each item can be associated with one or more drawings (eg stylized for design, detailed for the purposes of a detailed presentation, developed for the production).
The operator using Microstation will design the elements as he prefers and, by the archiving tool will associate, a design with the corresponding article..

Management Operators:
Each solution can be designed by various operators and possibly belonging to different departments. Progenio provides a tool for the management of operators, each workstation that uses the software has a specific operator name, so you know who has worked on such a project and when.

Modify standard elements:
modification of the standard elements are recognized, identified in the note as special elements, the dimensions are recalculated automatically and the description field is left free for any descriptive changes. Possibility to separate processes such as sawing, etc..

Numbering and recoding of special elements:
Oversized items are numbered according to the rule that rule that the same element corresponds to an equal numbers. Recoding can follow the numbering of these elements: the process is customizable according to customer requirements. Possibility to combine work and materials.

Datasheets: 
for each special item can be automatically created data sheets for production. The format and layout are set by the user who has the ability to create and modify the main tables,  from which result the project sheets.

List:
The list shows the elements of the project and highlights those that are oversized. It also displays the amount of summations, surfaces, volumes and lengths. It sum where even the extras are numeric values. Articles can be modified to change the description, and you can enter notes that can be useful during the production or storage.
The accessories are also shown separately and their amounts are calculated automatically. These amounts can be changed by the user. You can also add in the list new items, that for various reasons you didn't drawn before. The list may have different paper type outputs that are customized to customer requirements.
